Whilst I love the drama of the Giant's Causeway Visitors Centre by Henegan Peng Architects for the National Trust............

..............my fingers will be crossed for the Newhall Be suburban housing scheme in Harlow by Alison Brooks Architects which through clever use of roof spaces both internally, as habitable space, and externally as garden area additional houses were able to be fitted onto the site enabling the developer to justify the additional spend on non-standard products and to increase the quality of the housing overall. 

No trees disturbed.......

..........in the building of this clever house in Japan which was designed to work in harmony with its surroundings.
